These large hollowing tools
are exact copies of the tools John has used for 20 years. The #1
hook is for most hollow turning, the #2 hook will reach a bit further
before going to the straight tool. These tools are 3/4" diameter black
oxide finish, come with removable 3/16" HSS cutters and hex key.

approx 20" long.

Small hollowing tools made
from 1/2" steel. This set is suitable for small hollow vessels
with small openings. The tools are approx. 12" long and furnished with
removable 3/16" HSS cutters and hex key. Black oxide finish. You may use
the armbrace handle, or the red handle is ideal with this small set.

These HSS deep fluted bowl
gouges have the "v" shaped flute with a small radius in the bottom which
yields a small tip that is handy for detailing and tight cuts.
Beware of claims of extraordinary edge life that many gouges claim;
there are no magic tool steels that are going to keep you from
sharpening your tools frequently. Buy good quality tools and sharpen the
tool BEFORE it becomes dull. These gouges are available in 2

tools. The special cushioned grip material is very durable and the most
comfortable to use. Each handle has a 3/4” opening and comes with

lighter than other armbrace handles and its
special shape is more comfortable for different arm lengths. It
has the same durable, attractive plus very comfortable cushioned grip.

Ended Shear Scraper
Turners
have requested this tool for years-it's finally here!
Use the
tool with the edge at 45 degrees to the wood in a pulling motion. This will allow you to make subtle changes to the shape, and leaves
a very smooth surface that requires minimal sanding. The handle is
solid aluminum with a special sure grip coating and has a screw knob to
adjustthe length of the blade to your comfort.

Sharpening Jig
Easy to use
sharpening jig for the hollowing cutters. This makes the sharpening of
the hollowing tips quick, easy and consistent. No more burnt
fingers! To use this jig, line
up your cutter to the grinding wheel, making sure the angle remains the
same on the front and sides of the cutter. Simply drill a "dimple" in
your wolverine arm or use a wood arm. You may need to slightly bend the
tool to get the grind correct.
